Neighborhood: If you are like me, you cannot have enough perfume and you can't stick to any one scent too long before you move onto something new.

One of my favorite houses is L'Artisan Parfumeur. They make these beautiful, unique scents, many of which are made from natural ingredients. Of course, this makes them pricey - from $95 to roughly $300 per bottle.

But samples! They do samples! $7.00 shipping will get you five perfume samples. These samples last quite a while, too, if you mix them in with your regular scents, as I've kept several for about three years now. You can even sample some of their most expensive perfumes, like Fleur D'oranger (made from Tunisian orange blossoms and is one of those $300 scents! I hope I hate it because I seriously do not need an addiction to $300 perfume).

I heart their La Chasse Aux Papillons scent - it's a beautiful, light floral fragrance, if you like florals. I can't wait to try L'ete en Douce and L'eau de Jatamansi.

It's a great way to branch out, I will definitely try some woody and spicy fragrances, as I tend to stick to florals and vanillas.

The wait is just so tough :P!

Best video game ever

The Dog Island Trailer WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!

The "best video game EVERRR" award goes to The DOG island. You play as a puppy who travels to The DOG island to find a flower to cure your little sibling. Disgustingly cute, as you can tell from the trailer. It involves sniffing out items and being obscenely cute and cute cute cute cute.

Bonus: Play it with your dog in the room. If yours is like mine, she will follow the dogs across the TV, and even check behind to find out where those crazy puppies are coming from :).

The Big Read, a.k.a. Lobstar is Uncultured Swine

The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed.
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Put an asterisk next to the books you'd rather shove hot pokers in your eyes than read
5) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them.

Am I the only one who just doesn't like literature all that much? I prefer a little more propaganda in my reading material. I imagine 99% of the stuff on this list would bore me to tears.

Also, while it is not on the list, allow me to add "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" to the list of books I'd rather shove hot pokers in my eyes than read. I wasted precious hours of my life reading it. If you enjoy this book, would you please tell me what I just don't "get" about it?? I have never had such a bad reaction to a book!
