Part of a fantasy serous about people who have special powers. In this book a town was taken over by a group of people who think books are evil, making it highly risky to own one. There is a nice mix of anti-religious extremism and get-lost-in-a-book make believe. (PS, i listened to it on CD, it is the best new way to read a book and avoid the same 10 songs the radio plays.)
