QotD: Presidential Attributes

What makes a good President of the United States?

Wow, there are such a large number of things:

• Caring about people (not just your friends or rich buddies who give you money/donations)
• Basic knowledge in a large number  of areas (Basic like you actually paid some attention in college not basic like you passed high school)
• The ability to listen to people who know what they are talking about in their given field (not thinking that you know everything and are smarter than say scientists, teachers, ext.)
• Enough people skills to not make everyone hate you/the US
• Being able to admit/apologize for mistakes you make (cause you will make them)
• Not being to conservative has never eaten a squirrel
• and the list could go on and on and on......

Unfortunately one thing i learned in PSCI class in true.....people who would make the best presents never run/aren't elected to be president, so we typically have to settle for the least bad person.
